Berlin based nova media today unveiled GlobeSurfer III+, a wireless router with quadband 3G support build by the Belgium company Option. GlobeSurfer III+ just needs a SIM card to operate and can offer a WiFi hotspot for up to 256 clients within minutes. The router supports download speeds with up to 14.4 Mbit/s and upload speeds with up to 5.76 Mbit/s in most mobile networks around the globe.

"The Router uses a webinterface for configuration and offers a setup wizard for an easy start.", states Jan Fuellemann, PR spokesperson at nova media. "The web user interface has been split into two sections; the main section for users who require basic features such as Telephone, Quick Set-Up and Security, the other section is for the IT administrator who needs sophisticated and advanced functions."
